Last Howard Cartoon Ever?

Here's a cartoon for next Wednesday's Observer, last one before the election.I sometimes wonder how much people take in the history of politicians, Howard seems to have got away with a lot.Will he do it again?The Polls don't think so, so far.Scarier is if the Coalition wins but Howard looses his seat, we'll have Peter Costello as Prime Minister...He'll be smirking like it's 1999(that's a Prince reference, don't know what he was doing in 1999)..

John Howard's posturing over saying 'Sorry" about the interest rates rise, and weather or not that counted as an apology really blows my mind.His latest comments were'I'm not a school teacher' and went on to accuse Labor of playing with words.

I guess if you're Prime Minister you can say pretty well what ever you like, weather you actually mean it later comes down to political conveniance. I really hope people are aware of this.
