Some New Stuff

Some new cartoons,
the first was for an upcoming article in the Australian Rationalist about cruel and unusual punishments in the American penal system, despite laws against it.The other two, about the Chinese Olympic torch(Melbourne Observer) and something about Australian economics(New Matilda).

An editorial cartoon for the Epoch Times, to go with an article by David Suzuki about the history of human impact on the enviroment.

Here is a cartoon for the Epoch Times, for an article suggesting chinese agents started the riots that led to the government crackdown, in a similar way that they apparently did in 1989.

Kevin's Wave

Here is a cartoon for New Matilda, about Kevin Rudd's odd salute(literally) to George Bush at the NATO summitt.Some people back in Australia(other political parties mainly) thought it was demeaning.I like Kevin Rudd,but it kind of made me cringe.

Here is a cartoon for the AEU News(for the Teachers' Union), to go with an article about the huge collection of marking that accumulates at home.

Here's another cartoon about Global Warming, and the fact that some people(Liberal Party?) seem to not want to commit to emisions' targets until the rest of the World does too.There was a report this week saying it was much worse than most people realize.

Smoker Operation

This is a cartoon for the Epoch Times, to go with an article, part of which posed the question: should hospitals operate on smokers if they're going to continue smoking and damage their health further, tying up hospital resources away from other critical patients.

Here's a cartoon for the Melbourne Observer, I think the Japanese whaling is awful, how they can say it's scientific is ridiculous.

Epoch Times Iraq Cartoon

This is a cartoon drawn for the Epoch Times, to go with an article suggesting a slight improvement in conditions in Iraq, mainly due to some Sunni Muslims siding with the Americans in their fight against the Insurgancy.This is not to say it's much better though, it's still a war zone, and there may be problems in the future as the various factions decide to fight it out.
